Petersburg, Virginia. Circa
1814. Attributed to the shop of Leonard Seaton and Graves
Matthews. Very distinct "roll" on the center front
edge of seat. Bamboo turnings. Three of the four chairs
are a perfect match. The fourth is from the same shop but
slightly less elaborate. It has less decorative turnings on
front legs and no "roll" on front of seat. See
